How squash and networking combine to enhance personal and business performance
I believe that business networking should be fun, relaxed and enjoyable and is at its best when built around common interests. These are the foundations for successfully sharing information and ideas and for successfully expanding and building long-term business relationships.
That is why I co-created The Squash Club Business Network back in 2017.
You can find details about our events and how to join our business network below. Before you get to that, here is some more information to help you decide if it is for you.
Squash serves several purposes at our networking events. It works as an ice-breaker, it helps soften the mood of the room and it is a coachable.
It is also great for fitness and general wellbeing. Studies show that more calories can be burned
per hour of playing squash than many other sports and activities. This
is what the sport's governing body in England says about playing squash.
Our networking events combine opportunities to meet people, coaching from a professional squash coach and space to practice that learning. The support we provide means our events work for people that have never played squash before and for people that already play and want to improve performance.
The skills developed on a squash court - strategy, tactics, improved physical and mental fitness as well as celebrating success and learning from failure - can be taken back into business to help drive personal and business performance. It is also an Olympic Sport meaning some of the best and fittest athletes on the planet play and enjoy it.
